Trained targets: Pediocactus, San Francisco garter snake (Thamnophis sirtalis tetrataenia), Canelo Hills Ladies’ Tresses orchid (Spiranthes delitescens), Avian fatalities (generalized), Bat fatalities (generalized).

Muon is named after the recently discovered muon particle due to her demure size. She weighs in at a petite 28lbs! Muon was a quick study and has already racked up some respectable field time working with the scent detection teams at California wind farms where she assisted with bird and bat fatality monitoring surveys.
