The SCENTdogs

Muon is the newest and youngest member of the k9inSCENTive Team. She was a quick study and has already joined the detection team at the California wind farms where she assists with bird and bat fatality monitoring surveys.

Banshee is the only small breed dog on the k9inSCENTive team. She joined Bolt in botany work helping to detect the presence of pathogenic fungi in nursery plants and soil.

Vector, also known as Vector the Inspector, is now retired from his career as a wildlife detection dog. Vector has worked on some of our toughest projects to date including surveys for the elusive, and possibly extinct, Morro Bay kangaroo rat. He now focuses on promoting improvement in human physical, social, emotional, or cognitive function as a certified Therapy Dog with Pet Partners.

Bolt joined the team as a rescue dog from the Best Friends Sanctuary in Utah. She was quite literally left at their doorstep one morning. This little spitfire is always ready to hit the road!

Circe brings the energy and exuberance of a Labrador to every search she conducts. She currently works full-time as part of the canine scent detection dog team at California wind farms.
