SCENTdog Circe brings the zeal and exuberance of a Labrador to every search she conducts. She works full-time as part of the scent detection team at California wind farms assisting with environmental impact studies by locating birds and bats affected by the activities of the renewable energy site. She recently completed field work in Southern Arizona, alongside SCENTdog Muon, searching for rare and endangered Pediocactus. Circe also works with the endemic San Joaquin kit fox, locating their scats for population and ecology studies. Circe’s hobbies include fetching, running, leaping, barking and swimming.
