Team Ari

Trained targets: Western pond turtles (Actinemys marmorata) and their nests

Ninette Daniele is a lead biologist at Yosemite National Park. Her standard poodle Ari works along side her for the National Park Service as one of the first park staff ecological scent dog detection teams. Team Ari is currently trained and deployed exclusively to search for brumating Western pond turtles as well as their nests in Yosemite National Park.
