Vector, also known as Vector the Inspector, is now retired from his career as a wildlife detection dog. Vector has worked on some of our toughest projects to date including surveys for the elusive, and possibly extinct, Morro Bay kangaroo rat. He now focuses on training and competing in NACSW scent trials and has since earned his NW1 title. As the most easy-going member of the k9inSCENTive pack, Vector assists with the training of client dogs that need to work on their reactivity and worry around other canines. Vector’s hobbies include swimming, hugs and frisbee.

Vector certified and become an active team member with Pet Partners Therapy Dog in 2023. He regularly visits special needs schools, nursing homes and assisted living facilities to snuggle with anyone who needs some pointy-eared love.
